More Catch-up

I keep thinking that someday I won't be posting to wordpress right before shift change or quitting time, so that I could post here in a leisurely and timely manner .. it keeps not happening. I do apologize. At any rate, here are the latest reviews:

The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani, an adult historical based on the author's ancestor's journeys to America.

The Odyssey by Homer. Translated by Gillian Cross. Illustrated by Neil Packer. The classic, with a vigorous new translation and bright, Greek-inspired illustrations.

Counting to Christmas by Gillian Chapman. Illustrated by Peter Stevenson. My family's favorite little board-book Advent calendar.

Circular Knitting Workshop by Margaret Radcliffe. Knitting geekiness at its best.
